- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. A&J is licensed and insured and holds Contractors LIC #1124619. We have been in the duct cleaning industry for over 20 years, and all of our technicians have years of industry experience. If your building or your managing agent needs those details in writing before a crew comes out, ask for them when you call.
- Do I get proof of the work?
- Yes. We take before and after pictures on every job, so you can see the condition of the system at the start and at the end rather than taking our word for it. Customer service and quality services are very important to A & J Duct Cleaning, and the photographs are how we show it.
- Do you guarantee your work?
- We guarantee all of our work and we never cut corners. Our team goes through extensive training on the proper procedures for cleaning ductwork, and the crew that arrives is the one trained for the service you booked.
- Will you tell me if I do not need the work?
- Yes. We are honest about every project. If we feel this could be handled another way by a different company or different contractor, we will refer you to someone else to handle it. We offer a free evaluation of your system, so having us look and quote costs you nothing either way.
- Who actually does the work?
- We have many different crews that handle different services. For example, we have a crew that only deals with high end homes or commercial accounts. We have a crew that installs gutters and a crew that repairs trash chutes. Each specializes in a specific service, and nobody rotates between jobs they were not trained on.
- Do you offer discounts for multiple services?
- A&J Duct Cleaning offers discounts for doing multiple services at a time, and there is currently $50 off any service over $500. Ducts and dryer vents together is the most common pairing. Tell us everything you are thinking about when you call and we will quote it as one visit.
- What areas do you serve?
- Los Angeles and Vallejo, CA. Los Angeles is our main branch and runs all eleven services, cleaning and repair. Vallejo is our smaller branch and handles cleaning only — air ducts, dryer ducts, trash chutes and grease exhausts, with gutter cleaning on some jobs. We serve residential, commercial, industrial, restaurant clients and property management companies or contractors across both areas.
- What else do you clean besides ducts?
- Dryer vents, wall heaters and gutters are all included in our services, and so are kitchen exhaust cleaning, ductwork encapsulation, trash chute cleaning, power washing and gutter system installation. Eleven services in all, each with its own trained crew.
- Do you work with property managers and contractors?
- Yes. We serve residential, commercial, industrial, restaurant clients and property management companies or contractors. For a managing agent or a board, the before and after pictures on every job give you something concrete to circulate to residents, and work is scheduled with the building so people are affected as little as possible.
- What happens if you find a problem on the job?
- We send a project completion report if any issues are found, and help you handle any issues found so you are not trying to figure out how to handle any issues on your own. If the fix is outside what we do, we will say so and point you to someone who handles it.
