Job Title:  Traffic Controller

Job Locations: Norfolk, VA 23510

Schedule: Part Time

Job Duties:

• Directing the flow of machinery and vehicles on roads and work sites.
• Coordinating set up, manage, and remove temporary traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers to guide traffic through work zones.
• Handling disruption areas such as accidents, planned maintenance, building sites, and roadworks.
• Assembling signs and setting up work zones.
• Communicate with other traffic control personnel and construction workers via radio or hand signals to coordinate traffic movement.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control measures as necessary to minimize congestion and ensure safety.
• Ensuring safety of all parties.

Minimum/Special/Additional Requirements:

• High school or GED
• Traffic Control Experience
• Customer service Experience
