Job Description

A well-established private school in Queens is seeking a passionate and dedicated  Elementary School Teacher to join its K–4 faculty team. Responsibilites:

• Design and implement dynamic, age-appropriate lessons across core subject areas for Kindergarten through Grade 4
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, respect, and a love of learning
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Track and assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families
• Maintain classroom management that is nurturing, structured, and aligned with school values
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff for cross-grade planning and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate proactively and professionally with families on academic and behavioral development
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• State certification or licensure in Elementary Education
• Classroom teaching experience with K–4 students preferred
• Deep understanding of child development, learning strategies, and classroom management
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
