Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Scouting: Discover and attract exceptional healthcare professionals by utilizing creative strategies such as social media campaigns, networking events, and unique job postings.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and industry professionals to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct engaging and comprehensive interviews to identify the right candidates for our diverse healthcare teams, ensuring cultural fit and technical expertise.
  • Innovative Sourcing: Leverage cutting-edge tools and platforms, from LinkedIn to niche healthcare job boards, and implement new ideas like virtual job fairs, creative job advertisements, and personalized outreach.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze recruitment metrics, provide feedback on the hiring process, and adapt strategies based on trends to ensure success.
  • Employer Branding: Help us tell our story! Advocate for the organization by promoting our values, mission, and culture through social media, blogs, and candidate outreach.
  • Onboarding Support: Collaborate with leadership to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new healthcare professionals, helping them integrate into the team quickly. Performs reference checks, background checks, E-Verify, and regulatory agency guidelines and policy.
  • Trendspotter: Stay ahead of recruitment trends, healthcare industry news, and talent acquisition best practices to keep our strategies fresh and competitive.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and proven experience in healthcare recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for thinking outside the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – the ability to connect with diverse candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and sourcing tools. Experience with Microsoft suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A genuine passion for healthcare and making a difference in the lives of patients through talented professionals.

Developing Potential, Inc. is a nationally accredited CARF Day Habilitation program that began providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities in Jackson County in 1993. DPI’s program focuses on building strengths, fostering independence, changing lives, and developing potential. This mission drives DPI’s program services and the commitment DPI has to help individuals achieve an adult, dignified lifestyle.

Today, DPI continues to grow, and the program continues to evolve to meet the needs of families throughout Jackson County. We are interested in employing people who want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
