Solventum is seeking Machine Operator candidates to join our team in Brookings SD!

• Starting Pay: $24.39/hour + Shift Differentials
• Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Machine Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensuring you own safety by following all related policies
• Operating production equipment, inspecting, and packing product safely and according to standards
• Performing tests at a high quality of standards set by quality specifications
• Supporting the team when working with other Operators, and Service Groups to optimize processes including timeliness of product flow
• Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Ability to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• One (1) year of manufacturing experience

The starting rate of pay for this position is $24.39/hour, with the potential for future pay increases. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
