Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Apache NiFi, Spark, Hive, and HBase (Metadata Management), as well as Kerberos, Knox, and Ranger (Security Management). Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with designing and architecting large centralized data repositories (Data Lakes / Data Warehouses / Data Marts). Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop and Cloud stack including metadata management, schedule management, and security management. Must have hands-on experience in Apache NiFi, Spark, HBase, Hive, and Kerberos / Knox / Ranger (Security Management). Knowledge of data ingestion tools like Talend and Kafka. Extensive experience with data modeling, data ingestion, data security, and data governance. Responsibilities: Possess excellent technical and team leadership skills. Be a creative, innovative thought leader who can create a culture of learning and sharing among team members. Ability to clearly communicate designs, thoughts, and ideas and adjust communications based on the audience. Mentor team members and take initiative in providing thought leadership, innovation, and creativity. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate implementation methodology, project milestones, and system functionality. Ensure the consistency and maintainability of Data Solutions by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions. Act as a subject matter expert and make recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders. Interact with customer's IT and business stakeholders. Prepare development estimates, respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team in design and implementation of software components.
