The Account Marketing lead will play a critical role in this by developing and executing a personalized engagement strategy for organized accounts, crafting adaptable and tailored customer journeys. This role leverages a deep understanding of Organized Oncology Account (OOA)-specific needs to design modular offerings, optimize channel mix, and drive performance across GPOs and other organized accounts, aligning with brand strategy. This role reports to the Head of Marketing, US Oncology.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate closely with Oncology Key and National Account Managers to capitalize on marketing opportunities through organized oncology accounts (GPOs, aggregators, and integrated delivery networks). 

  • Develop tailored messaging and engagement tactics that resonate with the unique roles of Pharmacists in patient care. Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for organized accounts, creating flexible, account-specific journeys and modular offerings. 

  • Lead execution efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and customer needs across organized accounts. 

  • Design content and channel mix tailored to organized accounts, optimizing touchpoints to drive engagement and meet account-specific objectives. 

  • Ensure content is adaptable, relevant, and aligned with organized accounts’ unique roles in the healthcare landscape. 

  • Act as the primary marketing liaison to NOSAs and KAMs, ensuring that B2B solutions are integrated, relevant, and scalable for organized accounts. 

  • Facilitate collaboration and strategy alignment between NOSAs, KAMs, and oncology marketing.

  • Oversee strategic planning for GPOs and other organized accounts, assessing opportunities and maximizing impact in alignment with the brand’s overarching goals. 

  • Lead company engagement plan in all OOA-related events (NCODA, COA, OncCare alliance, Mckesson, Cardinal, etc...) 

  • Assess the effectiveness of GPO and organized account-specific offerings relative to other marketing tactics. 

  • Lead the development and scaling of B2B solutions tailored to organized accounts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and customer needs. 

  • Evaluate, optimize, and expand scalable offerings that address organized account needs and enhance value delivery. 

  • Share best practices on deployment of marketing tactics across account-centric field teams.

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business or life sciences preferred. 

  • Marketing experience required. Oncology experience preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a focus on high-impact execution and results.

  • Proven success in customer-centric marketing strategy development and cross-functional leadership 

  • Ability to travel up to 33%.
