Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Creative Director is responsible for developing and driving the overall brand aesthetic & art direction of all Brand, Product and any other marketing campaigns worldwide. They oversee creative of all photoshoots, web design, store design, email, video and printed deliverables all the while driving the evolution of Quay’s brand image.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Evolve the brands visual identity that represents Quay’s DNA and speaks to target and core consumer (10%, primary responsibility)
Develop thoughtful, innovative 360 concepts across print and digital in line with brand strategy and campaign needs. Responsible for art direction and copy across print and digital platforms. This includes but is not limited to in-store, digital/web, print, pop-up stores, event concepts, video, collateral, mailers etc. (25%, primary responsibility)
Ensure the level of excellence in all creative work designed and executed. This includes concept, design, photographic art direction, supervision of retouching, supervision of production, and supervision of all execution for campaign to ensure consistency and cohesiveness. (20%, primary responsibility)
Lead store design and continued development from a creative standpoint for Quay retail store locations.(15%, collaborative role)
Determine which photographs, arts, fonts or other design elements to use for all creative. (10% primary responsibility)
Review and approve designs, artwork and other graphic developments by Graphic Designers, copywriters and Production Artists. Provides guidance and direction on regional adaptions while understanding need for local nuance with guidance. (10% primary responsibility)
Identify and implement AI tools and practices into the creative process to drive efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness—without compromising quality and brand DNA (5% primary responsibility)
Apply industry best practices for the department keeping all Creative consistent across multiple platforms such as website, store, email and third-party marketing (5% primary responsibility)

Key Working Relationships: This incumbent for this role must establish strong working relationships with the Marketing, Web, Social Media, Product, Wholesale, PR, Visual Merchandising, and Stores.
Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of creative experience, including senior leadership roles, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
A blend of strategic thinker and hands-on creative leader with strong taste level and a forward-thinking POV on visual culture
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Video editing is a plus
A multidisciplinary thinker who’s fluent in digital, content, campaign, and retail creative.
Experience in integrating emerging tech like AI into workflow and concepting to find cost and time efficiencies.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while being detail oriented, well organized, able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities at any given time.
Experience in high-end graphics, marketing, or production environment. Retail or fashion industry experience is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated, and able to work independently and within a team.
Travel Requirements: 5-10% travel required
