Who you are:

As a Compensation Analyst at Alloy Roofing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely commission calculations across multiple branch locations, align compensation plans with business objectives, support payroll processing and calculating, help build out our Alloy compensation practices, and provide insights that drive financial transparency and operational efficiency. Reporting to the VP of HR you will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and HR teams to optimize Alloy’s compensation strategies, contributing to the company’s continued growth and commitment to excellence in roofing services.

What you’ll do:

Commission Calculation & Payroll Support:

  • Ensure precise calculation and timely processing of commission payments for sales teams across multiple branch locations.
  • Validate payroll calculations, ensuring compliance with company policies and compensation agreements.
  • Partner with HR and payroll teams to resolve commission-related queries and discrepancies.

Compensation Plan Alignment & Optimization:

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of sales compensation plans that drive performance and align with company goals.
  • Conduct benchmarking analyses to ensure Alloy’s compensation structure remains competitive in the industry.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing incentive structures and pay models.
  • Improved alignment of compensation plans with business goals and employee performance.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of compensation policies and procedures for internal reference.
  • Utilize data analytics to track compensation effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on commission payments, earnings trends, and compensation performance.
  • Timely and error-free commission calculations leading to smooth payroll processing.
  • Actionable insights derived from compensation data to drive strategic decision-making.

Benefits Analysis & Support:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of benefits plans and procedures for internal reference.
  • Utilize data analytics to track benefit plan effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on enrollment and utilization
  • Own administration of benefits platform.

The team:

This role will be an individual contributor on the HR team reporting to the VP of HR working cross functionally with the payroll and operations teams.

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and compensation-related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in payroll processing and commission calculations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard compensation models.
  • Knowledge of sales performance metrics and incentive structures.

Your Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

· 1-2 years compensation experience.

· 1-2 years benefits experience, preferred.

· Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred.

Physical Qualifications:

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
