DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage-Attractions
LOCATION: Primarily stationed at the Hattiesburg Zoo and Serengeti Springs
SHIFT: Part-Time- Holidays and weekends are often busy times for events and the staff must be flexible and reliable.
SUMMARY: Attractions Dining Attendant is scheduled as needed for the daily operations of the Hattiesburg Zoo and Serengeti Springs Food and Beverage Department. Attendants will be contacted one week in advance of potential work for availability and scheduling. If desired, Attendant has the potential to move to the regular part-time wait staff depending on facility needs and the attendant’s abilities, including professionalism, quality of service, courtesy to customer and co-workers, initiative, punctuality, dependability, and overall work ethic. Enthusiastic self-starters interested in creating exceptional customer experiences should apply.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will include, but are not limited to, Cashier duties, decorating, prepping food, pre-setting food items, buffet service and receptions, serving food, refilling drinks, restocking items, buffet lines, bussing dishes, washing dishes, cleaning, and/or working dining areas.

Education and Work Experience
Education and Work Experience: Food service and catering experience is a plus.
Essential Job Qualification
Must retain a valid Driver’s License and meet the eligibility requirements to drive while conducting company business.
