We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Architectural Engineering team at our Wichita location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and other commercial or industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce coordinated detail design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site observation reports, etc.
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Manage the workload of engineers and technicians.
  • Work on multiple projects, including power distribution, lighting design, grounding systems, fire alarm systems, and utility coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and building codes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • PE license.
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical design projects, including coordination with other engineering disciplines.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience with AutoCAD MEP and Autodesk Revit.
  • Design experience with MEP systems for buildings is preferred.
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet).
  • Compliance with MKEC and client drug/alcohol and safety programs.
